Is it Grand Theaf if the car is abandoned?
#1
Yea I'm sure it is.

Abandoned house the grass is over a foot tall already. Looks like they pushed this out of the garage to load up other stuff.

Poor girl has been sitting for months. I've looked up the home owners on tax records and found a phone number. Phones Disconnected, go figure.

Didnt pop the hood but she' sitting right so there's something under there. Floors are gone Sad

more rusty stuff behind the fence but I wasn't brave enough to go look.

If you are interested in it, find out where the tax bill gets mailed and send a letter to that address. Taxes always have to be paid...

I guess it is on your road, I didn't put that together.

Abandoned, yea me either but it's been sitting out for a while and I noticed the grass was long so I pulled in this morning.

Knocked on the door, no answer and there's no furniture in the house. I'd hate to see the bank hire someone to "clean" up the junk and that thing go to a scrapper. I may have to duct tape a note in a plastic bag to the hood.

Put the address in http://www.njtaxrecords.net, that'll tell you the last property owners name. Then search on that name and see what comes up.

Also, see if you can get the VIN and run that thru Google, or contact DMV.

Got the tax records and name. Number is disconnected.
Planned on calling the tax office to see who's paying this week. Hopefully not a bank.
Good tip on the VIN. I never thought of that.

Being a 500 it's not a priceless car. But I have soft spot for 68's and vert's so it's speaking to me Smile.

Midnight Auto Salvage... if that was in NoFlo it would be in storage in my spray booth for the owner when he came for it. I would of coarse leave a note on the door with my phone number and reference "the" car is in safe storage. Awesome car!

I recently bought a car without title and washed it through Nevada and converted it to a Florida title... $400.00. Is the fender tag and vin # intact?
