I brought a car to my first cruise night. Well, first night as a driver. Some impressions:

- Man was it packed. Kimball's Farm in Lancaster, Mass. was a zoo. Beautiful night which I am sure contributed.
- My car was well received, which was great.
- I ended up on part of a dirt road. Which in hindsight was really bad. To the guy in the blown-modified-open header thing that blew dirt 30 feet in the air, thank you. I now have something to do today....... (note sarcasm)
- Some fun comments about my car:
- "Is it for sale?" No.
- "Can I take it for a ride?" I thought this guy was kidding, he wasn't.....
- "Do you need parts? I have parts for a '65 that are in my way in the garage." Yes sir, I'll take your contact info, thank you.
- "You need to put an 8-cylinder in there." Doubtful.
- "You need to put a 2-barrel carb in there. The difference is night and day." Thoughts from the experts?
- "I love that it's all original." Yeah, me too.
- "I saw you pull in and had to come over and see it. I have a '67. I love Coronet's." Yup.
- "Is it for sale?" No.
- Best part, I was having long convo with a guy who spent a lot if time pouring over my car. He stopped mid-sentence and yelled at a kid who was going toward the car, "No, no, no, don't touch it." I said, "It's okay, that's my son." He didn't miss a beat and looked at my son and said, "Don't touch it anyway." Priceless.
