I looked at a 67 Coronet 440 today and would like advice if it's the right price. It is a four-door, automatic, 318 engine. The firm price Is $3500.
4 doors and automatic are not usually something i would look at. What is really exciting to me is that it is incredibly original with only 36000 miles. Original everything, with the expected patina and only one spot of rust I could find on one of the front fenders. The original carpet even looks almost brand new.
Unfortunately my phone was dead when I went to look at it and I have no pictures available. Just curious to hear your opinions on whether I should jump on it or let it go.
Thanks
Bob Melms

Price seems good for an all orginal low mileage car IMO

Yep good price for a original. I payed 5000.00 for a 1964 Dodge Dart GT all original,225/6,109,000 miles on her. Yea it is the 50th anniversary of Dodge, which may or may not effect value of her but who cares,it's a joy to drive

First welcome to the site, second, what you are asking is similar to asking a bunch of drunk people at a bar if you should have another drink. LOL
Simply put, it you like it buy it. A low mileage Coronet for 3500 seems like a great deal even if it is a four door. I have a 67 500 4 Dr Se with about 42,000 miles on it that I bough for the very same reason.
Get us some pictures when you get it home.

I agree. That doesn't seem out of line at all.

welcome to the site! sounds like a good deal. I like the look of 66/7 coronets in the 4 door flavor, one of the best looking 4 doors IMO.

I can't chime in on a 67, so you guys in the know should tell him which rare parts had better be on the car. I remember a lot of discussions on defroster ducts and grill surrounds???
