26472648264926502651Does the upper control arm ball joint stud looks like it's down far enough. I've torqued the nut and have had it apart 3 times. This is as far as it will go. Should it be farther down. Or am I ok. Thanks in advance. New control arm with ball joint already installed.

By the boot, it certainly doesn't look drawn down enough. Could you have the wrong boot?

The whole upper control arm with bushings and ball joint and boot came as one assembly. Got them from Mancini Racing

I torqued it down and hit the control arm with soft mallet. Which enabled me torque it even more. It won't come down any further.26532654265526562657

If the boot is fairly tight up against the shaft to hold the grease in your OK, grease it up and go. Not too much though, just to where you can see the boot filling will be fine. Use some good quality grease like moPar brand. the cheap stuff get's hot by the brakes and starts melting all over making a mess.
