Don't use a CA3004 from Pioneer it's about a foot too long for a 1967 440 4-speed, I ordered one just out of curiosity and found out.
If you wrap it around the drive shaft twice it would fit perfect.

Thanks guys, I just ordered one up for my convertible. I did an internet search on p/n 2661733 and got one from Atlas Obsolete because it comes with the firewall grommet and bracket.

Excellent Jeff. I also purchased an n.o.s. part number 2661733 speedometer cable assembly a few years ago for my 66 500 for the very same reasons that you did. Richard

Does anybody know if a 66 Coronet Automatic spedo cable will fit a 67 Coronet automatic? The one in my 67 looks looks like hamburger but still works. The car once was a race car and it looks like the old headers put off a lot of heat and cooked it. The one in my 66 parts car looks perfect.

In my post above, you will see that the 1966 and 1967 Coronets use different factory part numbers for their speedometer cables and when I ran an application use search on the aftermarket part number ATP 03153 that Mike posted above, it told me that part number ATP 03153 was a perfect match for all 1967 Coronet models, no matter which engine, or transmission is in place, but that same part number was not a match for any 1966 Coronet model, regardless of the engine or transmission type, so I'm not sure what to tell you other than it looks like the 1966 and 1967 speedometer cables are somewhat different due to having different part numbers. If you have a good used 66 cable on hand already though, it won't cost you anything but some time to verify if the 66 cable will, or won't interchange on your 67. Richard
