Part 2 of this console series will cover all of the 1966 4 speed and automatic floor console body top finish plates except for the ones that were used on the 1966 Chargers which will be covered in a future post.

I remember these parts BEFORE they were corroded or abused! Heck, a case of short bottled Beer(we called them stubbies here in Canada) used to fit between the chrome trim rails on the top of the console and when taking corners at speed the Beer case wouldn't even flip over because our elbows prevented that from happening...I know...my bad but heck, that was like 1970...times have changed big time! Richard...you are providing such VALUABLE information for us that you should be knighted! Galen Govier...move over man, the Bankerstoy has moved on in!!!!

Rofl Thank you VERY much my friend, but seriously, if Mr. Govier and me were to ever meet on the battlefield, he would be the gentleman carrying the bazooka and lots of shells and I'd be the poor bastard going up against him with a single rock and a slingshot!
