Not many of these original hemi 67 R/T's left and finding a titled hemi car is really tough to do. A good project for somebody. Going to cost a BUNCH to restore it but worth the time, effort and expense. Procuring a 1966 dated hemi engine is no easy task but they do show up once in a while.

It'll cost three time the price of the car just to get the Hemi and trans. Wondering what happened to the grill.

That grille looks like it took a beating over the years. Sometimes, storing and moving those grilles can cause their own abrasions unless a person is extra careful. It is going to take some extra DEEP pockets to restore this car as I have eluded to in my last post. I can't say with certainty that I have ever seen a 1967 Coronet R/T HEMI car on the street and I stretch back a LONG way in age. Mind you, in my neck of the woods there weren't too many original hemi cars around to speak of, period.

If somebody is willing to take the time, that would be a nice car, but you would probably have another 50-60 grand, minimum into it!
Objects quickly DISAPPEAR in the rearview mirror and PLEASE stay seated until the ride comes to a complete stop!!

Tim, the grill shown is a 500 grill. What I meant was where did the original one go? Unless I missed something, which is not unusual...

Rich, I did fail to include that in my post that it is a 500 grille , thanks for pointing that out to me. It's anybody's guess what happened to the original R/T grille. You know, about 20 years back I was looking all over Canada for a nice numbered hemi car body and do you think I could find narry a one? Nope. Now, more are coming out of the woodwork...dang that makes me mad! LOL. Back then hemi bodied cars were much cheaper and usually came with a running 440 or something else. A guy I used to know had a 1969 RoadRunner and it was a factory hemi car but someone had removed the drivetrain and K-member and replaced it with a 440. That same RoadRunner was later rolled 18 times on a prairie road in Saskatchewan and was crushed later at the auto wrecker. I also watched a 1969 Charger 500 hemicar get crushed at an autowrecker in BC. I tried my damndest to get the car removed from the pile but the wrecker hated Mopars and laughed as he pulled the hydraulic lever to make the crusher destroy the car. I offerd big money to the guy but he laughed even harder! That makes 2 hemi cars gone forever. My point in all of this story is these B-body hemi car bodies only with titles are very tough to find nowadays.
