We finally got a little bit of winter. We got about 8" of snow, hard to tell because of the wind, roads have been a mess for a couple of days. we did not have to travel so we stayed in. I still listen to the CB and heard some really ugly road reports. Snow will not last long as it's supposed to get back to 60F by the end of the week. Won't be getting the Bee out for a few days!

We did have a flurry on the beach one year mid 1990s and didn't even stick to the ground. That was the first time recorded . We do have snow not far away in the foothills every few years.
I lived in Colorado for a few years and loved the snow, just like teasing you guy's , it got my Roadrunner dirty too but back then it wasn't a big deal.

Another story...............As I said earlier, we used this car as our family ride for 12-13 years before the gas got weak and expensive! I found with the first snowfall that this car needed more tire than the Goodyear Polyglass wide ovals in order to get around in the winter. This thing was as helpless as a pig on stilts on slick roads. I bought some good snow tires and had them studded, kept about 200lbs of sand (in bags) in the trunk, then we got a 20+ inch snow.........then came the tire chains. It now could get around in the bad weather. The problem then was to watch where we were going so as to not "high center", that meant the actual work of digging out. Had to a couple of times. One year we had chains on for just under a month, my weekend chore was to remove the chains and check and repair crosslinks. You southern guys missed out on all the fun!!!
