rebuilding it, seriously! I've had it 32 years and haven't driven in it 25 of them

#3
Drive it and fix anything that breaks. Although I don’t anticipate anything breaking, it’s been a solid car for 23 years

I want to drive mine more. I've been a bit distracted with everything else going on but I do start it up often just to listen to her purr. Just ain't really been hitting as many shows / cruises as of late.

Get it so it's not the Exxon Valdez anymore and possibly start body work..

but definetely putting new shoes on it.. 16yrs old is kinda long in the tooth, but surprisingly no dry rot..

Rebuild the front end on the convertible. Also I'd like to refresh the engine, pull, check bearings, reseal, paint, install the DP4B manifold I have for it (and block the crossovers) put in a 280H Comp cam & 2200 stall converter. If I can score a set of 440 Source heads for a decent price id go that route too.

Anybody have a set for sale?

Speaking of crossover block off, I was surprised at how different the exhaust changes tone.

and how much better it runs when hot. We cleared it out on a friends 73 Charger (318) and while it finally came off choke, it ran like garbage when warm..

Granted, it didn't last much longer after that. Something about ice and a tree made it live a shortened life..
