At the risk of offending many here on the DCR, I love both ole Blue and the RAV4 sitting next to ole Blue! Had a new 2018 and now a new 2020 RAV4 and they are just great smaller SUV's!

Sure would LOVE to see another old Blue out around town Youtube video Mike!

I had to drive sane and sensible cause I had a passenger who is scared shitless of the car when I pulled the front wheels one time. But when I get back I'll take some more..

End of the day at Firebird raceway

Glad to see your Firebird Raceway is still going strong Andy. The track that use to be called Firebird Raceway Park here in AZ was taken over by the Native American Tribe who owns the land that the track is located on a few years ago and they have decided to close the track and build a new non automotive development on the property. We are now down to one drag strip in Tuscon AZ which is in southern AZ.

I think that drag racing is dying a slow death in many areas of the U.S. including Arizona.

Other than that next closes is Willow Grove, about 2hrs away, and Atco where you gotta be quick to avoid the guys playing dueling banjos...

There is a paved oval track from way back behind Firebird raceway that is being restored now. It will be open next year. Might electric cars only by then, lol .
