Tell me what you want

Guys, I'm drawing a blank what to change here. New forums, get rid of stagnant ones, Fixing the picture upload so it shows on main page is a no go, it's actually built into the software to not be there. There may be an add-on but last time I checked there wasn't

Throw some ideas out there and if it makes sense I'll try to figure out how to add it.

Sorry for delay in starting this, Corvid-19 has had my mind occupied in other ways.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

May I suggest that the following three things be done?

(01) Provide the official DC "security staff" with a million dollars in unmarked bills and an airplane with a full tank of fuel?.

(02) Make Bright Yellow the official DC website color?

(03) Make Helga the official DC mascot?

Ok Mike, now that my silly comments are done, is there much use of the following three forums? If not maybe they could be eliminated and those types of posts could be placed in other forums?

(01) The Early Years
(02) The Muscle Car Years 1965-1970
(03) The Swan Song Years 1971-1976

Anybody else have any thoughts on these three forums?

Richard

What I might be able to do is combine all 3 forums into one, say Coronets Through The Years. This way the 3 forums I fought so hard for after the board crashing will still be around

If they are seeing use Mike then they are fine as is. I was just thinking out loud after you mentioned reorganizing the DC.

I know that I'm beat dead horseto death, but to be honest the difficulty with posting pictures is frustrating more than a few members and while you've mentioned more than a few times that not much can be done, it would be nice if the Web Hosts could reconsider giving you and Kevin some options to improve this flaw.

I also know what you will say regarding this, but I would still love to be able to post more music videos per post. Disc Jockey

One last thing comes to my mind as well that most likely won't be an issue for most members, as they don't manage large multi page threads like I do, but Is there any way to improve the process for deleting an individual post within a thread?

I have found the current process to be extremely frustrating indeed whenever I've tried to delet a single post inside of a large thread with many pages in it such as the music threads. I made the mistake of trying to delete an individual post in the "Radio DCR Complete Album And Concert" thread awhile back and while I was able to do so, it caused major issues with ALL of the individual page links for ALL of the pages that followed the page where I deleted the post. It took me weeks and a heck of a lot of work to fix that issue!

As always Mike, THANK YOU for all that you and Kevin do for all of us!. I am not WorthyI am not Worthy

It would be nice to actually get the Registry going.
If a man speaks while in his garage and his wife does not hear it, is he still wrong?

Let me qualify further in the 20 years I've been taking Vin numbers I have had some interactions with very nasty and cunning people, who sometimes without permission use the Registry as an endorsement for a cars prominence, mostly selling ( e.g an auction ) stating I (or something cited in a post) qualified a car to a certain caliber or rarity.

There is also is really big exposure when it comes to posting or even having information online, in a lot of cases people have agreed to submit ( for posterity) information on thier cars but do not want broadcasted for wide consumption.
