The road less traveled...
#81
Things are moving along finally. The castor was able to cut them down with a machine, not sure how exactly, but they were successful.

So now, I'm going down to Rhode Island tomorrow for final inspection and to place an order.

We are also going to try the 70 500/RT letters which are unlike any other letter due to they are swaged or peened onto the finish panel.

Then... 66!

So I thought I had a set of NOS 66 letters, but found out they were not the same curvature. So I'm thinking they are for maybe a Polara? I'm actively looking for a nice set of 66 letters so I can try to reproduce them too. My 66 has only two 66 letters and three 67 letters, I didn't remember that. If anyone has any, I'm interested.

This could get out of hand if I'm not careful... LOL

Work is actually very slow. No one buys oil nor needs heating systems fixed when they don't need to run. It almost hit 70 today.

I found out that the 69 500/RT rear letters are the exact same per the part numbers. So now I will be offering the rears for 69 too! I'm excited about that.

You probably should keep this "undercover", so Chrysler doesn't come knocking on your door!

I'm not sure if the deck letters are needed as much as hood letter. I know the finish panel for the 500 is needed. Do the letters go bad? I really want to get a set of 66 hood letters to reproduce. I think there might be enough demand to cover the development costs.

OK, there heeeerrrrrreeeeee!!!

So what I've done is 67 hood, 67 500/RT rear, 68 rear, 69 500/RT rear, and with a little modification 70 500/RT

The 67 hood letters will also fit 67 Charger. They will also fit 66 Coronet and Charger, but are NOT the correct style.

They also will come with the correct attaching hardware (70 excluded).

If you are interested, PM me and I will give you my email. Ordering will be done by email and payment will be by Paypal, but I need a couple more days to set that up correctly. I will also take money orders if you'd like. No credit cards sorry.

Price for each set is $150.00 plus shipping. As of right now I found a flat rate box for $8.00. I'm open to other suggestions if you can find something cheaper. I feel they need to be in a box to protect the pins.

I'm sure I'll be adding to this as time goes on.
