Wow that is a nice car! I would love to own it even though I find stock/original cars slightly boring.

Nature abhors a vacuum. All you'll do is stuff more crap in a bigger garage, trust me, I have significant experience in this.

The optional bumper guards on this car confuse me. I've never seen bumper guards this big on a '69 Coronet before. The ones I'm familiar with are about HALF that size. Were there two different types of bumper guards available?? Are these correct or added from some other car??

No code on the fender tag for the bumper guards either, but then it is a Lynch Road built car so that may be why no option code.

Here's what the bumper guards look like that I'm familiar with.

The tag being disturbed would make me start wondering. On a virgin like that I wouldn't expect it. Sweet car though!

I really don't think there is anything wrong with the fender tag, it appears to be legit. Cars that were built at the Lynch Road assembly plant were not coded on the fender tag like cars from other plants were. Many options on cars just plain weren't stamped into the tag at Lynch Road, you really need to see the broadcast sheet for a Lynch Road car to determine its build.

I'm convinced the bumper guards ARE NOT factory, they must be some type of aftermarket add on as Rich has mentioned earlier. I didn't really study the photos for other non-factory stuff, but those bumper guards just JUMPED OUT at me.
