92839282This is a muffler that came off the car and has the Mopar markings. The part that puzzles me is the reducer on one end? '67 R/T 440

Nope, that's a replacement and the correct mufflers have squashed corners.

It could be, but I've never seen oem mufflers or originals with ribs before.
