We are keeping up with our cars, being our daily drivers also but even I don't want anymore.
But we just picked up a 58 powerwagon for some reason.

Interesting that it's a 4-speed with no console, and with a buddy seat. Was this an available combination? Seems like I remember the console was mandatory with the manual transmission. Maybe not; always eager to learn something new.
