Here is the title for Lauri's blue R/T that turned out to be a lemon. We were dreaming of having a red white and blue set of `67 R/T 4-speeders, and this one was on a lot so we bought it. Not knowing a whole lot about cars we got taken for a ride. Come to find out it was a total and they chopped it up and welded it back together in the worst way, after we saw that we decided to part it out instead of selling it to someone. I took the whole dash and most anything good in it and put in Max since it still all burned up from fire.

Then we posted it for parts and a guy wanted whole thing to make a race car out of so that was an easy sale and both were happy since he was not concerned with bad repairs since he was going to cage it. I know Rich is cringing when I say chopped , race car, cage in same sentence as `67 R/T but these were all over back then and didn't think twice about it. Why I still have title ?? I can't remember why.

So what happened to it after that I would like to know now, I hope it got restored and owner will see the VIN pop up and we can chat. That what I hope I find about Max more someday. I keep searching.

Andy, it doesn't bother me. I know our cars were just regular cars at one point in their lives. Now if you cut apart Max, I'll be on the first flight to CA! LOL

Yes sir Andy, I also owned a 1967 Coronet R/T project car back in the late 1970's that my brother-in-law and I were going to turn into a serious race car, but then our 1970 Hemi 4 speed Dana Cuda race car came along and the R/T was sold. Sure wish I had that R/T back these days, but as you mentioned Andy, other than Hemi cars, everything else back in those days were just cars to have fun with, not sacred collectibles as they are today and to be honest, it was a lot more fun back then.

By the way Andy, check out the license plates on my R/T! Smile
