Well finally after who knows 2 years? Anyways I bought a Meguires clay bar kit and had a chance to do my whole car!!! My car had been at a butcher shop for a couple of things and it got a bunch of overspray all over her.
I was fortunate that nothing else happened to her and got it out of there. Well after spending just over an hour
on the whole car she is now overspray and contaminant free and it came out awesome!! I know a lot of people
probably spend $50-$60 bucks for a clay bar but this whole kit was like $20.00 and worked awesome!
So if anyone was hesitating to buy this product, I would recommend it!!

I highly recommend clay bar treatments too. There are a lot of brands out there and I have tried a few of them. Have to say I cannot really see any differences between brands. I do like the Meguires quick detailer though..I always have it on hand for shows..

I've heard of Clay Bar but have not used it. I'm told that you have to use some kind of lub or the bar just wants to stick.
Is it hard to work with?
Can you tell me the best way to apply it?
Thanks

Anything Meguires puts out is awesome! I have been using their products for years, their upholstery stuff is the best, along with their liquid wax products, next time you shine the car,try Meguires #26 liquid wax, have been using that on my boat and my gelcoat is as good as if I just bought it today (it's a 97 model).

Water..It is the best for clay bar! Forget the hype the companies are telling you. They want to sell you more stuff..I know the kit comes with a lubricant (meguiars does anyway) but I have done so many clay bar treatments on my cars and mates cars that all I use now is water.

I find better results with a quick detailer though. It really gets everything!

I've been using Jax Wax, they're out of Columbus OH, you get a 1 gal jug for about 25.00 and put it in a spray bottle, it lasts a long time, also it's great on black paint!
