Replacing the original engine and rear harness is strong possibility. If so who makes a good one? Would like to get a factory looking harness. Year one has them. Evans is another name that I've heard.
Thoughts?

Year One sells the M&H Harness (they are the exclusive distributors for them). Evans is good also. I've used Evan's myself and liked the way it was put together, I've seen the M&H ones also, and they look like a quality product.
I like Evan's harness because they have great customer support, and if you need a special harness made up, they will do it for you.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

Installed two complete M&H harnesses and many engine harnesses really like them.

I have a couple of Evans harnesses. Quality has not been good. Had issues with the wrong gauge wire and quite a few bad crimps. But price is right.

Used a couple of the M&H wiring harnesses from Year One back in 2005/2006 during the restoration of my sons 1972 Dart Swinger that also uses one of the Mopar Performance electric distributor conversion kits and the M&H harnesses fit and have worked perfectly since they were installed! Very happy with M&H's quality and Year One's prices were competitive back in the mid 90's as well. I also have a brand new M&H engine and forward lighting harness by M&H from Year One that I purchased a few years ago waiting to be installed in my 66 Coronet 500 also.
