Andy, it's referred to as a Hemi booster because the mounting bolts are off center to allow the booster to be a little higher for Hemis, but it was commonly found on most b-bodies with power disc and a big block. I'm not 100% on 68 and up cars, as you know, I'm not much into cars that have lots of plastic!.

The big difference with 66-67, and 68 and up is with the check valve. On earlier cars, the check valve nipple (hehe) was perpendicular to the booster and 68 and up was at an angle. Thing is, you can't just change the check, the hole is different. On the earlier ones, the check had ears that would plug in and twist to lock. Later years had just a grommet and the check would just push in.

Hope all that is right...

We've all seen folks asking a lot more money for a lot less car than this seller is. You will have an investment to restore the interior, but the rest of the car looks to be very nice driver quality without doing an in person inspection. Being a non factory a/c equipped car might hurt it's appeal to prospective buyers in warmer climates but still a very nice looking car.

I agree Richard,
The car looks solid and un-molested.
I really like the blacked-out tailsection and the front grill on these 69's.
The shifter looks like the chromed-tulip shifter. My 69 has the woo-grain knob shifter. This came up on another post; maybe there was a particular month / or factory where the two shifters varied.

Any ideas out there regarding the chromed Vs wood grain shifter in 69?

not sure of the exact month, but the early 69 cars had the chrome shifter knob. I read hat it was untill they run out of them. I am not positive about that!!

The exact changer over was different at different plants but was typically Nov/Dec. My STL plant early Nov built car has the chrome knob. By January built cars, you pretty much see the wooden knob from all the plants.
