Funny thing is that I thought they might be a great part to produce with a 3D printer too.

R.N.S.- Richards New Stock, I will buy the first set! or I will be reduced to a heat gun, filler, files, primer and paint to repair mine.
That 3D printer in the right hands would be nice for Re-man parts.

R.N.S........by golly I think you have something there my friend! That would work perfectly for Rich as well! ![]() I've seen that Jay Leno has a 3D printer in place and has been making his own parts for awhile now. It will be very interesting to see how things go once the 3D printers become more available to hobbyists on a wider scale. Seeing that the original 1966-67 defroster vent nozzles were made out of plastic, they would be a natural for this process and hopefully whoever does them will improve the poorly designed original mounting ear tabs. Richard P.S. This is what almost all of these original 66-67 plastic defroster vent nozzles look like when you find them. One or both mounting ear tabs broken off and missing in action. ![]()
For some unknown reason, nobody seems to take me seriously............

I just bought the same 3D scanner (next engine) that Jay has. I don't have a printer yet but we have one at work. I haven't printed anything yet. Just starting to play with it. I thought it would be a good thing to repop emblems.

LOL I would gladly pay for a set of '66 reproduction dash defroster vents when you get sorted and operational...

Home depot sells 3D printers now. Not sure about the quality. Looks loke a fancy glue gun. After I figure out how to get a good scan then I'll try to make a few parts.
