Vent window assy.

Will a '66 coronet hard top vent window assembly fit a '66 coronet convertible? And will '67 vent window assemblies fit a '66? If anyone has a really nice set for sale PM me please. Time has come to start massing the parts for the Battle of the Bulge.

I believe that if you look through the extensive 1966-1967 window glass, weatherstripping and other related parts interchange guide thread that I wrote and is located in the DCR Paint/Body/Interior Archives Forum, you will find the answers to your questions posted here. Wink

Rofl Oh heck no, I'd drive you absolutely insane trying to clean, label, plastic bag and place all of your parts in plastic storage bins my friend! We'd never get your car assembled and back on the road!!! Rofl

By the way, I also did a parts interchange guide for the 1966 and 1967 Dodge and Plymouth B-Body cars front windshield moulding trim if you need that information.

oh my... I could only wish to be that organized! I tend to have focus on car things that make me crazy, Dart update. I also complicate things, note all the relays and specific wiring routes- everything has a path with stiff wire inlayed to my custom harness, I also wanted a mild drag car and wanted anti-roll lock-up. I wasn't happy with the selection and choices of switches on the shifter so I cut a channel in the back of the arm and buried the wires under bondo then made a plate for the momentary button where the 4 spd emblem goes. I head home this week and plan on wrapping up the Dart, I really want to tackle the '66 coronet and finish it before next year. I will break out a proper camera before heading back to work in March and do some better photography.

I really like the way that you laid out your gauges on your Dart's instrument cluster! Looks like the car is coming along very nicely! Cool

Thank you... It has been in a three year restoration and I cant wait to get it outside and rolling. It all boils down to my New Years resolution; finish one project before tackling another! hahaha Really, I want the '66 vert going and as soon as Uncle Sam sends me my 2015 refund I'm buying all parts to get it back on track. Look for the updates in March!

Richard the cluster came from Thunder Road as a complete kit, everything electronic. It sure updated the car and I had to re-adjust a lot for work and thought. But in the end really happy with the modern cluster and gauges. The speed-o can be adjusted to any wheel size at the touch of a button and a marked mile. Of coarse when I went to install it nothing fit so I called Thunder Road and they told me the cluster would not fit a Swinger car and I was pissed. Then after a couple rum and tonics and looking at everything I took a air saw and cut-off wheel and butchered the original dash cluster (it was shot anyway) utilized parts of it for mounting, welded new tabs on the bottom of the dash and made a resin and cardboard filler covered with carbon fiber to match the new insert, paid my helper numerous amount of money to sort out the wiring while I was at work for the last 28 days. All well worth it in the end, this is going to be a sick toy. 500+hp, 4:56 rear end, line lock, a custom tuned thermoquad with a weiand 8007 intake, a bad ass stereo system with Polk Audio speaker (gotta hear it over the rumble) and on and on. I'm getting giddy!!!

The cluster was kind of expensive but summit racing really put the screws to me on a order that cost me out of pocket $2K in labor on a customers car but they have been cool by giving me parts at cost until the $$ is square. I will miss it when it is done.
