I wonder how this runs. I would like to find out.

It would fit in Max but would have to add another blower due to the dual quads.

We had a guy here a few years ago who ran a Road Runner at the drags at Mission Raceway Park. It was a wicked fast car and he had a B1 engine stroked to the max and it also ran a huge turbo set-up. The car ran in the low 8's in the 1/4 mile! Wheel stands and gobs of torque and traction to handle it all. Early on he had issues with over heating (gee, I wonder how come, LOL) but that got fixed. He got hurt in a pro football game (NFL but I don't know which team, probably Seattle Seahawks seeing as the border is 10 minutes from the track) and never returned to racing. I don't know what happened to the car so it probably was sold. Nobody I know has any idea what happened to it and the guy never shows up at the drags anymore. It was a 1969 RR. If I ever find pictures of the car I'll post them here. The engine set up pictured here makes me think that the engine doesn't make peak horsepower only due to the fact the air intake tube is directly above the header and the heat from that would not be conducive to optimum performance. In my mind and experience, having the air intake pointing into the wind behind the grille would make more power and in this case the air intake could have cold air coming from the wheel well via a hole in the inner fender. The car is modified anyway so WTH. Just my take on it. 1969 Roadrunners are my favorite Roadrunner next to a Superbird which I aspire to own one day and I do miss my old 1968 coupe RR 383 4-speed.
