I've been DVR-ing a couple old TV shows on the Cozi cable TV channel.
The old show "Run For Your Life" occasionally has Ben Gazzara, the star of the show, driving a rented Mopar when his travels take him to America. I have saved an episode featuring a red 66 Coronet 500 convertible, one with a gold 67 Coronet 500 hardtop, and one with a blue 67 440 hardtop. Another episode I saved has him in a yellow 66 Polara 500 convertible, while being followed around by a blue 64 Polara convertible.
On the same channel, I started DVR-ing the show, The Name of the Game. I remember my parents watching this show and remember it featuring Chrysler products. Robert Stack, the main character usually drives a 68 Imperial convertible, 68 Polara convertible, or one of three 69 300 convertibles (red, blue, and brown ones), or a silver Mercedes convertible. Its a rather unusual show in that each episode is an hour and a half long. Episodes centering on Tony Franciosa have him driving a nice red 68 Barracuda convertible (69 model in the following season). Episodes centering on other main characters prominantly feature a variety of new 68 and 69 C-bodies (mostly convertibles). I have seen a 68 Satellite convertible, and a 68 Charger featured on the show, but no Coronets yet. Although the cars were brand new at the time, they weren't afraid of thrashing the cars around a bit. I was surprised to see them repeatedly ramming a brand new silver 68 Polara 500 convertible into a brand new blue 68 Town and Country wagon in one episode.
