HUGE SCORE FOR ME!!
#1
I went to my classic Mopar dealer in New Hampshire yesterday and while he was getting me a NOS instrument cluster
(by the way in perfect condition and got the whole thing, all the switches for $65.00) I noticed a brand new looking 727
torque flight tranny. So I asked about it. The it is a 1968 HP 440 tranny that just got rebuilt and has never been run also
came with a brand new still in the box torque converter. I said how much? He said $450.00. I POS myself and gave him
cash on the spot!! What a great day for original parts!!!!!! I looked up the converter and it listed for around $400.00. So I
pretty much paid $50.00 for a fresh tranny!!! This is also the same guy who sold me an NOS rear window chrome for $125.00.
He is the best around!!!!!

We have a similar place here, near Beaverton, Ontario called National Moparts. They have a yard full of nothing but Mopars and containers full of parts as well. Fun place to visit & very helpful.
