Just an FYI. I bought a front windshield for my 69 Coronet from TAMRAZ on ebay and they were AWESOME!!!
The price of the windshield with shipping was only $370.00. The windshield was actually shipped directly from AMD
and I had it in 2 days. The Glass was packed VERY tightly and came in with not one mark on it! Now lets get to the glass itself.
I thought it was extra money for the Chrysler pentastar on it but when I pulled out the glass it was on it with no charge to me.
The thickness of the glass was the same of my original. I was VERY impressed and pleased with BOTH AMD and TAMRAZ!!
Buy from TAMRAZ and you will not be disappointed!!

Good news indeed, thank you for the heads up! Maybe you could post a link to the Tamraz web site?

How about posting back to us once you have actually installed that glass and let us know how it fits.
By all accounts I have heard, the AMD glass should be avoided as it does not fit properly, especially the side glass and rear glass. You may be OK with the windshield though.

glass fits good. It was a little of a pain in the ass getting it into the soft seal windshield rubber though.

Good deal. I think it was mostly the side and rear AMD glass that was causing people the problems. I was able to reuse all my original glass, so I was lucky in that respect.

I was lucky also with my glass. Except the windshield of course!

My 66 Coronet 500 still has all of it's factory installed tinted window glass in place and all is in excellent condition with the exception of the windshield glass which has some blemishes after 47 years, so I'd really like to replace it. That would also allow me to remove and restore the dashboard assembly out of the car, but I've also heard that the new reproduction windshield gaskets are a problem as far as water leakage and not allowing for proper factory fit of the stainless windshield moulding trim when they are reinstalled with a reproduction windshield gasket and glass, so I'd be very interested in hearing if you've experienced either of these issues.

Richard, I changed the windshield and gasket on my blue GTX, I had no leaks, the trim fit perfectly, but the gasket inside was bunched up a little. That is the only issue I wasn't happy about.
And since when are YOU worried about water leaking? LOL.

Well Rich, since we get VERY little rain here in Phoenix and we can drive our cars year round, we actually have to WASH our cars on a regular basis to keep em clean in our dry dusty climate!
