The "500" badge is original and untouched(never rechromed or painted),; I just got the floormats @ Chrysler Carlisle this summer from Legendary Interiors. As soon as I saw them I knew I needed a set because our cars never had carpeted floor mats back in the day.

Its factory; I first rode in this car when I was 3 yrs old(I'm 42 now);this was my uncles' car from 1970 until 1997 when I bought it. All he ever did to the car was standard maintenance,never any rechroming or rebuilding work. Car only has 52000 miles.

In the photo of the "500" emblem, it appears that the background area is painted white. I believe that area should be painted an argent silver.
