Are you planning on adopting another 4 legged family member?

Thank you very much Rich and yes sir, Rosie and I went to one of our local Dog Rescue Shelters and adopted our new girl Rilie this past April. She is a 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd & Healer Cattle Dog mix. Our Kita will never be replaced or forgotten, just a new journey started with our girl Rilie.

I'm glad you brought someone else into your family Richard, and especially glad you adopted from a shelter. Mutts are the best and easiest to work with!

That would be a lot of fun Lance! Rilie is off to "Doggie Boot Camp" for a few weeks though, as she never really had a home before Rosie and I, so she needed some professional training to learn the rules of the road! She's 38 pounds of pure energy! Smile

Thank you very much my friend, so am I.

I'm not sure that "mutts" are the easiest to work with Rich, as I've never had a "pure breed" dog, but I will say that any animal adopted from a shelter is usually more difficult to work with because most of hem have gone through some sort of trauma in their lives that placed them in the shelter to begin with. I will also say that when you do bring an animal home from a shelter they absolutely know that you have saved their life and they will repay you with love every single day that they are with you and that's what makes them so special!

Richard...couldn't agree more with you on that! I'll never forget the day Zeus adopted me. That car ride home...you could tell...we both knew we had found our forever companionship. Smile

Adopting Zeus is arguably the best decision I've ever made...next to joining DCR that is. Wink

Edit: ohh...and taking Audrey to Troxell's...haha...that might be #1

I COMPLETELY agree with all three of those statements Lance! Smile

New York has The Statue Of Liberty, Arizona has the Grand Canyon and California has Troxell's! All three are national treasures! Smile

You guys are the best, we all speak so openly with each other good or bad and I really like that. Thank you for all the kind words and sharing.
I had a little lizard hanging out with me at the BBQ, I think it was trying to make me feel better as usually Shorty is right there. It worked Smile

There are so many things that I could say here Andy, but I believe that I'll just say that here on the DCR we all consider and treat each other like family and there isn't another Mopar or any other website for that matter on the Internet that can say that. I know personally that whenever any of our members suffers a loss of any kind it affects me as well.
