speedometer

My speedo just went out,checked cable and it's good. Makes a loud clicking sound from dash,odometer not working and spped dial is erratic. Don't really care if I have speedo,but need odometer. I guess the part that screws into back of speedo is broken,is this part available?? If not,can I buy just a odometer and hook up to cable? Don't really wanna pull dash,may open up a new can of worms. Thanks for any input Todddrunk

Don't be afraid of taking the dash apart. You just have to lower the steering column and the cluster comes out with just a little swearing.

I can probably dig up a good speedo head for you if you'd like.
