No pedal
#1
Got a 67 Coronet that had been sitting for years . There is no brake pedal . Took the drums off earlier and everything looked good there , good pads , no leaks . So I poppped the M/C top off and there was no brake fluid in it . So I filled it up and pumped the crap out of the pedal and there is not even the slightest sign of pressure . Now I know to do this right you need to bleed the system , but do you think the M/C is bad . Id hate to go through the trouble of bleeding the brakes when the M/C is the problem just to have to rebleed them ,,,, you know what I mean . Anyone have this problem before ? Thanks . BooBoo

When you pump the pedal, does it return? (just checking to see if there is a pushrod going to the MC).

Since it was empty, it's possible the fluid evaporated over the years. Now that you added fluid, there is still a load of air in the MC and the system. I'd test the MC out first. I've taken a couple pieces of old brake line and pinched the tube off and screwed it into the MC. Then pump the brakes. If you start to feel pressure, I'd go ahead and bleed the MC. After bleeding it do the test again. If the MC doesn't hold a firm pedal, then the seals are wasted and it needs a rebuild or replacement.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.
