Righto, thanks Andy! This is great information! I am planning on installing 4 off road lights for my Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 before fall hunting season starts. I want to have them working with no issues BEFORE I get into the deep bush.
Castles made of sand slip in to the sea....eventually

I did this to my 67 Coronet last year. Before I had 10 volts at idle on low beam and 8 volts with high beams at idle.
With relays. 13.5 to 14.1 depending what the alt is putting out at the time no matter high or low beam.

It worked to good. I put my ignition system on a relay to insure GOOD voltage to my module.

Easy project too. I got my relays from Del City.
