I am looking at the 1970 bucket seats that came in the RT's and possibly every coronet of that year. I like the high rise head part of the seat. My buckets come up to the back of my shoulders and stop there. Maybe the 67,68,69's came with these type buckets,I don't know. Next question, are these reproduced and where is the best place to get them? They just look more sportier than the ones I have Thanks for any input ToddBeer
66 Coronet 500 convertible 440,727,2500 stall, was 430 hp, we ain't got a clue now, just get in and enjoy the rumble
I like that style seat also. I dont think that they are being reproduced.you can find them at swap meets and get them reupholstered. I have some literature on 68 seats and it shows optional headrests but they werent suposed to be available until 69 ????

Headrests were mandatory beginning 1/1/69 which was midway through the 69 model year. They were optional for the 67 and 68 model year and on 69 model year cars built from August through December of '68.
My buddy put some cordova buckets seats in his 63 max wedge car, says it looks awesome, haven't seen them, go figure. Still the high buckets are awesome and I am still looking

The Swingers, Scamp, Charger and Coronet (75 and up) 2 doors came with high back buckets also. My car has high back buckets with a Buddy seat (column shift).
