By the boot, it certainly doesn't look drawn down enough. Could you have the wrong boot?

The whole upper control arm with bushings and ball joint and boot came as one assembly. Got them from Mancini Racing

If the boot is fairly tight up against the shaft to hold the grease in your OK, grease it up and go. Not too much though, just to where you can see the boot filling will be fine. Use some good quality grease like moPar brand. the cheap stuff get's hot by the brakes and starts melting all over making a mess.
