I recently got another 67 Coronet . It has a 383 in it with a automatic . I want to put alittle performance in it . I want to use a cam that will work with the stock valve train , stock torque converter and have a choppy idle . Anyone here have any first hand experience on a cam like this ? Also what do you think of the timing drive gears for the 383 Dodge motors ? Thanks . BooBoo

I am going through this type of cam selection now, it's hard to have the best of both worlds (choppy idle and work well with a stock valve/drive train) Seems like a really good cam for a stock type set up is the Lunati Voodoo #60301 or#60302. Going to much duration can result in poor vacuum (if you are running things like power brakes) the larger cams you have to factor in piston to valve, springs, clearance etc
