Lost America
#1
I found this excellent website called Lost America a couple of years ago and wanted to share it with those of you who enjoy different styles of photography. This gentleman does all of his photography work at night with the moonlight as his main source of light and sometimes adds minimal lighting to add different effects to his subjects. As most of you know, night photography isn't an easy process, so this gentleman's work is really interesting seeing where and what he uses for his subject matter which is usually always abandoned buildings, wreaking yards, ships, airplanes, military equipment of all kinds etc. I'll post just a few of his shots here and will give you a couple of links to his website below so that you can check out much more of his work and how he goes about taking and processing his shots.

Not only is his technique very unique, but so are his choices of subject matter! Most of his work is done out here in the western states and are of things that have all been abandoned in out of the way locations.

I agree CD, it would be fun to pick up a copy of his e-book to see how he creates these fantastic photos! A lot more going on here than just "point and shoot"! I truly envy folks like him who have such creative photography skills! I am not Worthy

A few more of his pictures that I really like.
