Rich,
Some interesting information on the 1967 GT / GTS big block Darts from the GTS Registry web site.
GTS Registry web site link: http://gtsregistry.com/
According to Galen Govier they were actually all Dart GT's in 1967 and from the above information, they were fitted with a GTS front fender emblem to distinguish them as big block cars. First two digits of the V.I.N. numbers are as follows.
1966-1969 Dart GT models including the 1967 only models with the 383 engines - LP
1968-1969 Dart GTS models with either 340, or 383 engines - LS
1969 only Dart GSS (sold at Mr. Norms dealership) with a 440 engine - L-S
1966 only Dart D Super Stock model with the 273 hp engine - LO
1968 only Dart Super Stock model with the 426 Hemi engine - LO
Some pictures of the 1967 big block Darts which all had flat hoods, unlike the 1968 and 69 GTS models which had the performance hoods.
I'm absolutely NOT an expert on these cars and don't play one on T.V., but I seriously doubt that the rear stripe on this Blue car that is for sale on Ebay is correct. The owner does list it as a Dart GT and it does look to have the correct factory style 1967 GTS front fender badges though.
For comparison, here are a couple of 1968 Dart GTS cars with the correct 1968 style rear Bumble Bee stripes.

Quote:The 1967 model year Dodge GTS was limited to only 457 units. This total represents both hardtop and convertible combined. However, we do have numbers for 4 speed and automatic production numbers. Only 229 4-speeds and 228 automatic 383 GTS were produced! This was due to a late production introduction. The '67 cars were only equipped with the 383 Magnum. They retained the GT badging overall, but gained a GTS 383 Four Barrel emblem on the front fenders. Distinguished by its smooth and uncomplicated badging, flat hood, and NO side markers. The '67 set the tone.
