We have the original bill of sale on our '67 from Hodges Dodges and the orginal owner traded in a '65 for ours. Were the VIN's on '65 cars shorter or did they abbreviate it on the paperwork? It would be cool to know if his trade in was still out there somewhere and how it was optioned out.

Yes car was from Detroit its whole life. We have the original bill of sale and a copy of the window sticker. We are in the burbs of Detroit.
They guy was given $1200 on a trade for that '65.
