Are the acorn nuts that hold the rear "DODGE" ('68) letter and the "CORONET 500" on the rear quarters available? Also is there a preferred way to repair letters with broken mounting pins?
Thanks,
Jim

I would imagine one of the big fastener suppliers would carry em? Try R/T Specialties. As far as broken studs I'm gonna say no way. Could try JB weld since you have nothing to lose! A word of advice would be to hand tighten these just holding the socket (no ratchet) AND try to start the nut in the same treads. Keep backing it out and then tightening it till you feel it going easily. I snapped one of ours even tho I was only holding the socket by my fingers! Maybe your letters are bigger but still be careful.

Your letters have 1/8" studs and officially use a 1/8" "thread cutting nut. And yes they do break off really easily. That's why I haven't released my hood letters yet. I've been waiting on a machinist to do a slight modification so the studs don't break.
