1959 Silver Challenger

I have posted this question on another board too, hoping to settle a dispute. Was the Silver Challenger a part of the Coronet line or was it a stand alone mid year car that simply used the Coronet chassis or are both of us wrong?

Thanks for the info. I remember hearing about 2 popping up in the last 5 years or so. One in Ohio and one in Georgia.
