Hey Barry, there are not many /6s out there anymore. Most people do a swap for something bigger. What you have was common, but not anymore. Keep up on that car, it sure is nice.

thanks ws27.for the kind words.i will not stop till its done.if there is such a thing.ha,ha.and hey 65rbdodge..dual carbs
..and the headers, that really makes the difference on horsepower doesn't it..dual carbs help I little too.ha,ha..i had a 4 bbl set up on this when I got it.but w/the single exhaust unit ..it ran like crap..so I went back to the stock set up.im gonna bring it back to original specs.then im gonna modify a couple things.like tint the windows a little bit.put some nice chrome wheels on it.maybe a sport steering wheel,a 4speed tranny..but keep all the things I change in storage..i really think a 4 speed would give the extra gas milage im lookin for..thanks all and God Bless.Bear R.-

Hey Bear, I bought my wife a 64 Dart with a /6. Man those engines are strong and very easy to work on. I haven't done anything to the motor except valve job. It has a 1 barrel carb on it and gets 21 mpg,I think going back to single carb is good choice. BTW if your carb vapor locks, run the fuel line away from the engine where it will stay cool. These engines sometimes develop that problem. Good luck and let me know if I can help on anything Todd
