Trunk project start

Started on the trunk project today. Did not get nearly as far as I wanted as the darn kids insisted on going apple picking of all things today! ;-)

Anyway, I finally pulled the old trunk mat and lo and behold it is a gray/blue spatter. First pic is the before on overall trunk. Second, while doesn't look like much, was after an hour of me just using a dustpan brush to take off all the surface stuff (btw, nowhere I could push through the rust). The third is for those of you who don't get an apple picking season.

Next is on to the wire brush and then the etching primer.
