The first # shows it is out of a `66 361-383, not sure about the H though 4301&d=1402483683[/IMG]

1966. The box code is the year cast followed by 12 boxes. Number of boxes with dots indicate month. Yours is March.
The pdf file shows it was used by Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth in 66 behind 361's and 383's. Dang it, Andy beat me!

please tell me it will work in my 440? I'm no transmission guy!

I'm not 100% but, I think if it is a 727 that will fit a 383, it should fit a 440??

It was for a 66 B or C body 361/383 late w/o housing. Not sure what w/o housing means.

I've never been able to figure out the 10,000 day calendar date. I think it should be 2956, but that is not in 66.

Well I talked to the transmission guy and after $378.00 worth of work it is now correct. I guess I will find out what had to be done. I'm at the point where I can't stand to spend any more money!! I know its hard to believe but I really am sick of spending money!!!

yes, if it fits a 361 or 383 it will fit a 440
