$9000.00? The original 440 is long gone and the seller says that the car was involved in an accident in 1971. It's going to take a fair amount of money to restore that car correctly, so do you guy's think that it's a good deal at the asking price?

What is the extra control just right of the steering column in line with other switches?
I believe on a Charger that would be a hood release position....right?

Andy that's a rear speaker control. Maybe I'm way off, but a rust free RT body has quite a bit of value at least here in the northeast.

I would agree. The new owner will be dealing with an unknown amount of collision damage, possibly finding new sheet metal to correctly fix that collision damage, a complete repaint, a correct new interior, a complete front and rear suspension restoration and a complete drive train restoration which will include finding a period correct 440 for the car. That boys and girls will require a lot of time and cold hard cash even if you do a lot of the work yourself.

Mopars & Missiles' Wrote:Exactly!! It is my opinion that many people under estimate the time and money involved in a complete restoration or just plain don't know what it really takes. I'll never do another restoration of my own, I'll wait and buy someone else's money pit for less than half of what they have in it.
