Window Regulator - idougal - 07-02-19 I have a Great Dale House Car that was built on a 1965 dodge coronet and some pre-66 dodge truck frame. 11885 The window cranks are getting unusable. Does anyone recognize this window regulator? 1188611887 It could be from any pre-66 vehicle (Probably 1965 Coronet, pre-66 Dodge truck, Caddie, or Olds). It looks the main body is OK. The steel looking cylinder gears are about stripped. 1188911888 Any help would be appreciated! Window Regulator - 67r/t4speeder - 07-03-19 I bet it can be fixed in the right hands. I have never seen that design before. Window Regulator - 67r/t4speeder - 07-03-19 Maybe these guys can help? http://www.then-now-auto.com/window-regulator-repair-kits/ Window Regulator - 67r/t4speeder - 07-03-19 ![]() Window Regulator - markz - 07-03-19 What are the dimensions? Maybe we can find one that will be close enough to work? Window Regulator - markz - 07-03-19 Absolutely worst case I may be able to make one that will work. I like challenges............ Window Regulator - idougal - 07-04-19 Thanks! We added some JB weld to fill in the gaps in the gears and I just put it all back together again. Now that I've taken it apart and understand how it all works, it appears to be installed 1-2" too low, which would be a nightmare to fix and keep the crank where it needs to be. It worked great once it started... until I went to show the wife. The glass and gears went wonky. She approved an electric system because it would be much easier to install. I'd like to keep it manual, but I don't want to do triginometry to figure out the installation. Does anyone know of a manual window regulator that is all vertical like a AutoLoc Flat-Glass Power Window Conversion Kit or Electric Life EL1000-K Flat Glass Power Window Kit. |
