For 69, they show either ATF or multipurpose gear oil - see below. I talked to Jamie Passon and he said to use ATF. 11908 1965 Coronet 4 speed lubrication confusion - 67r/t4speeder - 09-20-19 Who has tried atf? , curious how it reacted myself. 1965 Coronet 4 speed lubrication confusion - 65rbdodge - 09-21-19 67r/t4speeder Wrote:Who has tried atf? , curious how it reacted myself. I tried it once, it kept trying to shift by itself. That just took all the fun out of it for me. HAHA!! 1965 Coronet 4 speed lubrication confusion - MarkMopar - 11-20-19 ATF in an 833 4-speed will eat the countershaft. Always go with gear oil. 1965 Coronet 4 speed lubrication confusion - Krooser - 09-19-23 I worked for Mopar dealers from '68-'72... Type A/B/Dexron was the factory fill. |
