Hello there. I am restoring a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible back to it's original color of AA-1 Silver Poly. My cars original color has 3 other paint jobs that are laid on top of it, and the original paint that does shine though no longer looks silver. It has a greenish tint to it.
My trouble comes here. The paint shop I decided to go with refuses to use certain paints because they end up looking like hell a few years down the road. They want ONLY to use a 2 stage Sherwin Williams water based paint and none of the cross references show up with this code. Diztler has 32398 as their number, and the Sherwin Williams code of 2400 doesn't work either as it won't cross over into the world of Water Based paints.
I've gotten this info from this link:

Any help would be great. Have any of you guys painted your cars the correct AA-1 color in water based? If so, please help.
Thanks in advance!
