Just recently changed fuel system from pump to tank.when i removed old line, area from rear axle to tank had spring on line.like bending springs.i couldnt remove due to rust.so i slipped rubber hose on new line at area.does anyone know if this was original from mfg time or someone left springs on from old changing?
Yup, that's factory, my R/T had them on, when I restored it I was able to order a new box of it from Chrysler, that was sometime ago, i don't have a part# now. This protected the line from anything that got thrown up agaisnt the line.
Racer,thanks for the info.since was only over axle and bend to tank thought it was used to make bends and just left on
...ans certian portions of the brake lines too.
