I don't see many if any cars left there over night.
Thanks again for the info.
Car didn't make it last year, wasn't quite done. I'm buttoning up a few last things and it's back to the paint shop to fix some of my assembly nicks. I'm hoping nothing creeps up last minite....
Just registered under DCR. The discount lasts like 6 more days.
Yikes, I should have booked a hotel months ago! Nothing but high rent left.

Anyone taking donations for the tent setup and what not?

Do you leave your car on the field overnight or take it back and forth every day?
Seems like back and forth would be a pain but leaving your car out doesn't sound like a good idea.

Even though there is security, they are there for the protection of the fairgrounds only. At a GM show a few years ago, an entire trailer of parts was driven off the grounds right past security. Cars that are left overnight sometimes wind up with easily removed parts missing, and entire cars have disappeared. Another big issue is when those late afternoon thunderstorms go rolling thru, they can take all the stuff that isn't tied down or taken down (ie EZUP tents) and lob them at cars.

Better off driving that beast back to the hotel..

EEK, thanks Mike. I have a relative of in laws who lives close by. Going to try and line up a borrowed garage.
Didn't go EFI yet but I'm still considering it. Did you ever measure the height on yours?

Yup.. it's 3.25" from baseplate to where the air cleaner base rests.
Got the Charger registered (next year will be the coronet...THEE Coronet) and the club tent secured...good times....35 days!!!!!
Count me out boys and girls.. Have large project at work that going on that weekend. Might be able to get there on Saturday, but Thursday/Friday definetely out.
After being called an idiot for scheduling the project the weekend of Carlisle (I had a blonde moment and thought it was the week before), it's been rescheduled. I gotta work July 4th weekend, but I'll be at Carlisle Thur-Sat night.
