Ash tray/coin holder/used gum container on passenger arm rest original guys ?

PS really fun having you guys stop by John Smile
I believe armrest ashtrays should only be in the rear as you have one up on the dash.
Great to meet you and Lauri too Andy, we had a great time.

Thing with this ash tray thing is I checked out another one on eBay, it is yellow with a black roof and it also has the ash tray up front on the passenger side? See if you can find it.....
Let's hope this link works

Max is far from all original so not a very good one to compare with.
Yeah I guess, just strange how their all popping up
John, there will never be any 100% concrete proof which way they came. Personally I believe the front arm rest pads did not have an ash tray. But you never say never. Arguments can be made both ways. First off, if they ran out of one type, they would substitute another to keep the line moving. And second those are one of the easiest parts of a car to remove and replace with better condition (or one with a nifty ash tray) found from a junk yard. One could argue that more C bodies, being more expensive, might also be more likely to be garaged, and hence could have better interiors due to not being left in the sun.

Up until this car, I thought Mopar never made a big block 4 spd with AC in a B-body, but here's one to blow a hole in my theory.
