Well, me bad!! I guess after 35 years, I just don't pay attention, I DO have a ashtray on the front passenger side! These are the original armrests that I redyed as they were turning yellow.
I won't get into explaining all of the Chrysler trim codes used in the Trim Section of the 1967 Factory Parts Book because that isn't required here, but I can say that in 1967, I don't see a listing for ash trays in the front passenger side arm rest pad on any of the 1967 Coronet models. There were two options for front arm rest pads for the various 1967 Coronet models, a short version and a long version and neither of those came with an ash tray in the pad. I would guess that these Coronet's seen with ash trays in the front passenger side arm rest pad have been added by an owner over the years by either using an aftermarket arm rest pad, or possibly using a pad from a C-Body car, or another car that came equipped with a front arm rest mounted ash tray.
I agree that with these older cars it's never safe to say never, but in this case I would say that it's highly unlikely!

Please look at the parts that I've placed an asterisk symbol by.

YOU marked your book?
Helga is not amused.
She has a hunkering for chicken wings...I'd be careful if I was you. LOL
If you survive Helga's appetite Richard, can you see where they differentiate between 2 and 4 door, because that's where I think the two applications are for.

You know Andy, I've heard nasty rumours that some people actually do that! My best friend Matt here in Phoenix and me kid each other that after I pass on and he gets my diecast car collection, he says that he's going to open and play with every one of them and I immediately tell him that if he does that, I will haunt him on a daily basis!!!!
By the way, I'm currently in the process of making a computerized listing of all of my diecast models so I'll start a thread once I complete that task. I've done about 280 models so far, but many more to go, so it will be awhile yet before I'm done, but new models are arriving each month so I'll never really be done I guess!
On most of my custom built shelving units, the cars are stacked two cars high and three cars deep, so I move them around every so often so that I can look at different cars.
