NZ 68 RT and I both need someone with a 68 RT and a tape measure to help us. Could one of you kind people please give us a measurement from the edge of the rear side marker light to the begining of the butt stripe? We both thank you in advance.

My stripes are the same as a 68 because I bought a stripe kit and put them on. We repainted car and took measurements from stripe kit. I don't have side markers,cause I got a 66, but can give you the width's if you want them.
Thanks for trying, but we are looking for a reference point that gives us a fore/aft position of the stripe. The most definitive measurement would seem to be from the side marker. Are there no 68 R/T owners out there with a tape measure?

After asking for this info 3 times, and finally finding something that looks promising, would you believe that particular part of the website seems to be the only part I can't open!!!!
